1. Zion I - True and Livin

2. Common - Be (Kanye's best body of work thus far)

3. Quasimoto - Future Adventures of Lord Quas

4. Dangerdoom - Mouse and the Mask

5. Kanye West - Late Registration (not best artist, but if there was a category of most-prolific, he'd deserve a grammy)

6. Cage - Hell's Winter (it's a beautiful thing when an MC realizes his potential)

7. One Be Lo - S.O.N.O.G.R.A.M.

8. Jakki - God vs. Satan (underrated talent; would be Top 5 if not for the skits every other song. I realize a story is being told, but it disrupts instead of enhances the album concept and continuity)

9. Emanon - Waiting Room (the title-track alone is worth 3.5 mics)

10. Living Legends - Classic
