seattle's a cool town.... it has it's issues of course.... you're gonna notice a swift change in the women compared to those in san diego..... swift..... not for the better my friend..... you've been up here tho, right?

let me know if and when you move.......

Yeah, I understand. I'm not going for the women. Just going to get away from SD for a while and try something different. You know when the bill to cut smoking out of restraunts is going down? That was really the only thing I couldn't stand when I was up there. I was there for spring break this year and stayed in the Queen Anne area. Where abouts are you.

And what issues are you referring to?

it's not as bad as you make it sound...

there's plenty of hotties up there but the cold weather keeps them covered. walk through belltown during summer and you'll be a happy man!

Seattle is a very different place from San Diego. It's a liberal city, so it's more artistic and open-minded. the weather is cloudy and wet except for the summer. it's a great place for snow sports and organic food. northwest salmon is the best in the world. the bud is chronic and cheap. great asian food. THERE ARE NO SURFER DUDES HERE. relatively low crime.

don't live in Seattle if weather is a big factor for you...

aside from the clouds, Seattle is a great city that has a lot to offer and is growing fast.

Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of the sun as I burn easily and I'm not a surfer. The only thing I didn't like up there was the smoking in restraunts, but other than that I could live. I did notice the 1,000 vietnamese and chinese restraunts next to each other and all over the city. It was out of control.

Missed it, and I remember seeing a flyer for this and telling myself to go too. Fuck.

Seattle has its ups and downs, but the weather is honestly not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Yes, there are rainy days, but its not terrible. You can live. The women are better in Cali but thats expected. But Seattle has it all, a diverse mix of people and a lot of stuff to do. If you liked it when you were up here, go for it.

i've never owned an umbrella or a raincoat when i've lived here.... it rains all the time, but its rarely "you aint leavin the house" rain....

liquid sunshine...

i wasnt trying to knock seattle.... i love the pacific northwest and i dig seattle as a city.... especially as far as appearance is concerned... the area is gorgeous and the city is relatively clean..... it is pretty expensive, and quality jobs aren't in an abundance.... but that's not really unique to this town....

traffic is a bitch, if you drive.....

someone mentioned organic food... he aint lyin...

i like seattle b/c its big enough for me to simply blend in with the masses, go unnoticed.... but its small enough that i can still get across town pretty quick... and its easy to navigate b/c there's water all over the place....

sidenote: there are a bunch of shows coming up.... tha liks, the coup, the lifesavas, the peeps.... another show i'm gonna check is four tet and koushik...

What area of Seattle do you live in? And if you don't mind me asking what do you do there? As far as a job. I'd prob. take the bus as I would need to sell my current means of transportation for extra money.

i live in northgate.... surprisingly enough, on the northend of town...

unfortunately, my job isn't gainful in a mental sense, or really all that interesting.... we make, sell, and rent equipment such as, road signs, interstate signs, cones, barrels, boring shit.... to the city, and to contractors.... i run the rental dept., and all too often do i run much of sales.... its a good company tho, they're working with my schedule as far as school is concerned, and you gotta really pull some shit to get fired......

the bus system is pretty solid.... it aggrevates the hell out of me quite often, but its still pretty solid....

i hear ya man, i had to sell my ride to move back out here...

if you're serious, save that money... it did take me a few months to find a solid f/t job..... if that's what you'd be looking for.........
