View Full Version : Commercials w/Fresh Beats....
I saw a Saturn commercial with an RJD2 song in it. It's the parliament remix that he did.
Also, a shoe commercial (Possibly Nike, possibly Adidas) w/a PreFuse 73 beat from his Vocal Studies.. album.
Any others you can think of?

i just saw one last night and i think it might have been a saturn commercial or some other car manufacturer. anyways, these two dudes were makin' beats in their home studio, one was busting out the beat on the mpc and the other was playing some keys on a keyboard. the beat wasn't even cool, kind of electro type but i was just stoked to see the mpc. it's all getting too trendy nowadays.
I seen that. They go and record hella car sounds (door closing, engine, etc) and make a beat out of it. That shit is terrible, but their studio was ill.
Seen the budweiser commercial w/Dre on the airplane? That shit is dope..

the dre one is sic. also, deeskee used this song featured on a bank of america for nelia's 'clock murder.' it's a sic ass guitar or harp loop with a flute. i also like that jetta commercial with all the pedestrians and shop keepers doing things in sync with the beat (like dude dribbling and other dude sweeping his storefront). i thought that was a pretty damn clever ad. that new lugz ad is sic too. it was directed by some people at zoo york (who also did a company flow video) and these sic ass animators. the technique is similar to 'waking life' but i can't really explain it (live action mixed with animation). it looks really dope. i don't care for lugz though.
They did the video for End to End Burners huh? Cause it has that same marker streak throuout the whole video. Yeah, Lugz are weakcity... but i know the commercial you speak of. And yes that Jetta one is dope, though i haven't seen it in years... i want a Jetta. I think i might buy a 98 or 99 TDI Jetta........ sorry off topic.
