I was just wondering if many people in this forum listen to andre nickatina...I bay area underground artist. If you do know like i said, I was surprised eligh bit one of his beats and sorry to say but nickatina's version is much better.IMO.

ya i was wondering if that beat that eligh "bit" from nickatina was actually a beat that nickatina "bit" from someone else? i have the album at home i'll check the credits to see what the nickatina one says, if anything. i pretty much listened to nickatina throughout high school, haven't heard anything after daiquiri factory though.

ok, all i know is it says in the poltergeist booklet exactly...Mr. simon please forgive me but its too tight. I guess this is who he got the original beat from????no clue...all i know is nickatina used the same sample beat.

my CDs are so unorganized, i have the cases but no disc for:
Daiquiri Factory
New Jim Jones
Tears of a Clown

and only the CD but no case for:
Raven in my Eyes


i'm hoping that one song is from one of the albums with a case. i have no clue where the discs are :(
i'm gonna go to Amoeba today to sell back some CDs, hopefully all the ones i plan on getting rid of have both the case and disc!

it's a Paul Simon sample, that's why he says forgive me Mr. Simon, and even Pigeon John's cd had that sample too, so what did everybody bite from everyone else? when you sample you're bound to run into things like this evry now and then. it's not like there was only one record pressed per album....

no one bit from anyone, it's just a coincidence

and ELigh actually played the melody out instead of just straight sampling it

NICKATINA is deffinetly one of the best underground rappers out there. I have all of his albums and all of them are real good, not one of his albums is dissapointing. And his delivery and production is unique, similar to no other. New album---->
