mc serch "return of the product" - chubb rock and red hot lover tone just absolutely kill back to the grill. i love it.

i was listening to soul-lows b4 last night after watching the DVD again. soul-lows is dope, i would really like to find some of the other versions. i like rexall's intro. and that Hard Work song is dope. I had that on video from the LA2theBay showcase a couple years ago and I always wanted to hear it recorded, i was hyped when i got the soul-lows, but kinda pissed that they used that bassline. deeskee had already rocked that shit on the dope dope dope dub brothers cut on the real audio page @ la2thebay. oh well, still a sick track nonetheless. I need to get the track Team album pronto!

Sage Francis - Personal journals.... its pretty heavy, not really something to get you bouncing in the morning, but somehow i dont think sage will ever release a high energy dance track....

Eligh - Poltergeist... interesting, i think i like his collabs a little more, but not a bad effort.

Eyedea - The many faces of Oliver Hart.... he can be my friend if he wants. I might even invite him to my birthday party!

i'm listening to the "almost famous" cd right now and i have a question about track #6 "common ground" which is playing at the moment.

I wonder the same thing everytime i hear that track.. besides this song, i'm not too familiar with any of his own music (if he has any).. i've seen the name around, but don't know shit. yeah, he sounds like he COULD be in the Dungeon Family (reminds me of T-Mo from the Goodies), but i highly doubt it.

Pavement - hell yeah! One of the best indie bands...but Terror Twilight pales in comparison to Slanted and Enchanted, Crooked Rain Crooked Rain, and Wowie Zowie! I just picked up Steve Malkmus' new album, $12 and it comes with a bonus disk of 5 unreleased tracks. It's no Pavement but it's good enough for $12.

There's a Pavement theory that says the best Pavement album is the one you're listening to - I kinda buy that. But while NOT listening to any albums I think my top 3 would go CR CR, Slanted and Enchanted, Wowie Zowie.
Oh, and yeah, SM's first solo album might be better than his second...I haven't really had a chance to sit down with the new one yet though.
