yeah, that album is good shit.. blockhead produced 3 tracks, but I partiularly like Cryptics production. he uses some dope drum kits/loops

i don't even think of him as dark. just overtly graphic and kinda lame. his beats are uptempo more often than not. not dark and moody at all. but that's just my interpretation of dark.

where can i cop these? i sorta hated on elusive for a while cuz for some reason i wasn't feeling his 'clangy' beats. like they just seemed real boring to me. at least the first few beats i heard of his. i was like nah i'll pass. but he did some dope shit with the legends. didn't he do scarub's AFOTM? banging!

but you know what, after hearing that phoenix orion 'neo elo' and that elusive/josh koslow collab i was blown away. i just listened to those joints the other night for the first time in years and forgot how dope those two albums are.

and i think i heard a couple tracks of some beat CD he put out. must've been around 2000 or 2001 or so. somethine about fire? i can't remember the name of the beat CD.

elusive, if you read this, can i still get copies of your beat CDs? lemme know, man.

that intro track on 'neo elo' and the track following it are two of the hardest beats i've ever heard. that intro is REAL dark and REAL ill.

Shit, that album WAS Josh K. The Elusive backdrops were boring. Same drum patterns with various wierd sound effects. He did nothing musical or melodic to actually intertwine with the horn. He just layed some skeletal beats and let his bro play to them.
