Im trying to find out some info on studio montiors..

I am thinking about spending a little bit on some small/personal studio montiors for my keyboard so I can listen to my overslumped out death wish...
and I'm not so sure on what **brand!!** I should look into..

I want to only spend NO MORE than two-eight/three-hundred FOR THE PAIR...
eight inches or whatever you know..
but ..
I know how some companies can have monitors that are !!SUPER!! ..crap..
and they'll be sometimes $80 more than some that are super good and bump and produce an output with GOOD AS FUCK MIDS etc..
so..
DOES ANYONE know the (BRAND) or few brands that I should go with..
and respectively,
the brands that I should def stay away from..
going on the outcome I'm looking for..

Alesis are good, Mackie is good.

Look for the widest frequency response you can find (widest range)
MAKE SURE you get some with a FLAT response. This equates to pure sound. Home stereo speakers and most headphones color sound and beef up the signal. Monitors should NOT do this.

I saw these on Americanmusical.com..
and was thinking that they might be good..
frequency is the key...absoul...

I was making a quick assumption on these, only because I saw a pair of events for $1000, super good cha no..
so if that's the case, (meaning that if a company puts out monitors for a grand...then they must have something going for "them")
they might have decent smaller/cheaper versions..
just smaller..and that's what is effecting the cost..plus whatever else..but whatever..

t-strips speaks the truth. i haven't even heard the track yet, but i already know this is going to be a long battle (and possibly uncalled for). but what do we know? entertaining nonetheless.

theo, you gotta find what you want and then get it on ebay. let me know what brand you want and i'll help you find a pair of speakers for cheap. you should easily find a pair in your price range that will please you.

for now..im just and ONLY (broker than a joke status) using the basic triton61 le..keyboard...
no samples..I don't believe in em..
(truthfully I'll hit em up later in my future)
BUT..I do write music with the piano and all that..MY OWN you know..
so the synth can AND WILL DAMN IT..come out clean..like your typical sample..HOPEFULLy..
I dunno about ebay..unfortunately, I SERIOUSLY .....DONT TRUST no-one..

I can't just drop EVEN TWO HUNDRED OR THREE on anything coming from a third party..
partly cuz I got friends who are like,

why am I being such a wimp ass bitty right now about going out in "l if e" and taking some sort of risk..
i just want some nice sounding studio monitors to connect to my triton keyboard audio outs..so I can listen to my instrumentals SLUMP THE FUCK or atleast listen to how the beats are actually gonna mix down through speakers and not just headphones..like S posted..earphones dress up the sound whereas I would hope that my beats woulds come out a lot more ..how do I say..real, through speakers, you know, like a muthafuckaz listenin to it through his/her..(hopefully her..haha..) house speakers...um...
like some real music..anyway..

Im looking for those small speaker monitors, (i guess hopefully with some amp maybe..so the sound boost will be guarenteed), but I want those creeper speker monitors, those one's that I"m sure ive seen that are super small, or atleast not big you know...but some how or another, they just bump the fuck, and have super crisp mids, cuz now's the time for me to stop fuckin' around and be a man about my beats, and I can't do that when I just listen to them through earphones ONLY...
