i was hoping anyone who got the 7" (45) and had a chance to listen to it can shed some light on this question for me. i got the 7" but i don't have a turntable to play it on and have not had time to go over to my friends house to use his.
on the original FAOLQ advance there were 2 tracks that didn't make the final tracklisting (not "seasons change" either). i figured they were quasimoto leftovers, but when i saw the track titles on the 7" they sound like the 2 tracks from the advance.
the 1st track from the advance that i believe is "the front" goes...
"madlib, eh yo what's the word for the day yo, gotta get all this stress off my chest...mad at us, cause we ain't no janitors...everybody wanna act like they know, everbody wanna act fake, front..."
the 2nd track from the advance that i believe is "youngblood" goes...
"when we was young we used to chase dogs and cats, now the only thing i seem to chase is rats, the ones that wanna use me for my vestax..."
just curious if these tracks are the one's that ended up on the 7" or if these are different from the tracks on the 7". thanks in advance to anyone who can help me out on this, it's much appreciated, peace!
