that is pretty sic. too expensive though. i'm trying to find one of those fisherprice models or whatever but i hear no matter what, they cost $. those things are so tight though for like swap meets and record shows.

i've had mine for about two or three years now and i haven't had to replace the needle once....i paid about that much (190) for mine, but this one in the link looks even fresher! but i got all my dope stix on it now so i guess it's still dope in its own evs waaay.

i just brought it out for the first time about a month ago, and lemme tell you, i will never buy a record from thrift without my portable with me!! that joint saves you $$$

i love technology :p

This would be useful for my thrift digging excursions. For example, I bought a Ronnie McNair LP thinking it would be decent because he had a huge afro on the cover and it was on Tafia - I was wrong. When I came home and dropped the needle on it I found out it was a terrible record, now I'm trying to get rid of it, but nobody wants it! Not even my grampa, and he's givin' me some pretty funny records before. This type of incident has happened many times before. It would've been nice to hear it first with a portable turntable.

But on the flipside, I have a feeling lugging that thing around could annoying after a long day of digging.

yeah, it pays for itself after you take it out a few times. I havent been duped by a fruitless record in years.
