While Nas' last album, God's Son, was favorite among hip-hop heads late last year, a new remix album of God's Son has been renewing interest in the project. Hip-Hop/R&B Producer, 9th Wonder of the North Carolina group Little Brother (http://www.littlebrothermusic.com) , has remixed Nas' album and renamed it, God's Stepson.
9th Wonder has his own signature sound that is reminiscent of early 90s hip-hop, influenced by the likes of Pete Rock, Large Professor and DJ Premier. SOHH.com members agree that 9th Wonder is one up and coming producer that you have to keep an eye on.
"I gotta say I'm impressed. Dude is sick with the beats, sick!" said SOHH member jbl514. "His soul sampling makes Kanye West and Just Blaze look like amateurs!"
"9th Wonder got beats man...I'm lovin the sh!t I've heard from dude so far," adds member CeEnOtE74.
Here is the tracklisting:
Get Down
The Cross
Made You Look
Last Real ni99a Alive
Zone Out
Hey Nas
I Can
Book Of Rhymes
Thugz Mansion
Mastermind
Warrior Song
Revolutionary Warfare
