Hrmmm... well from Spain there's you can check out 7 Notas 7 Colores, they're pretty ill IMO.
If you want some more stuff from Sweden you can check out Nadasdi and A Prosperous Half, those two dudes can rip it up, they do stuff in english as well. Nice flows from the two.
From Japan there's Zeton, he lives on the Westcoast up in Canada but he comes ill, I guess similar to Arata even though I don't understand a word he's saying. Definately worth checking out.
From the UK, there's Blak Twang, Rodney P, Chester P, Farma G, New Flesh, Out Da Ville, Braintax, Lewis Parker... the list goes on and it's all dope. Check those.
Hope that helps dude.
Almost forgot, but make sure to peep Jehst as well.. he's from the UK too.
Loop Troop is the shit. Word. Doesn't Promoe have a solo joint out too?
I have a tape from like 95 with a gang of French MC's on it, and i have NO idea who the hell it is, but some of it is pretty fresh.......
so, that doesn't really help anyone out... lol... just thought i'd share.

i have a friend from japan who is an mc (pretty dope too). he spits in japanese and english. he told me arata is one of the worst rappers he's ever heard. he said all that cat talks about is your basic hip hop ego rhetoric. like arata is the dopest you can't stop me blah blah. i thought that was kinda funny. my boy would probably serve that fool up. shingo02 is way better than arata in my opinion, plus both he and my friend rip verses in both languages so everybody can understand. that way it's not really a gimmick like arata is.
i'm sure you've heard of la funk mob and mc solaar right?
There's also some cool african and australian rap music out there. Don't know any australian sites, but there's http://www.africanhiphop.com/ (i think tgone showed me this).
peace.

Ooo Shingo02 is ill dude, most definately check him out, if you get a chance to get his 400 LP get it, it's tight. And yes, Promoe did release a solo project called Government Music which isn't too bad. As well Loop Troop has thier new CD out called The Struggle Continues but if you ask me Modern Day City Symphony is a lot sicker.
As for Aussie hip hop, make sure you check out the Def Wish Cast, those dudes are ill as fuck. Make sure you cop thier Knights of the Underground Table album, hot stuff.
