I've heard peoplke talking alot about Crown City Rockers for the last year and have had no interest in checking them out for some reason. Finally today I couldnt think of anything to listen to on Rhapsody so I checked out Earthtones and God Damn!!!

Great album. Really good music. I'mma go buy the album today.

please don't jump all over me guys (no homo)... but i never would listen to jay z for obvious reasons... and well, i'm currently bumping reasonable doubt, b/c this dude told me to peep it... i dig it... i think its a dope album... i'm not gonna rush out and grab every one of his releases... but he's earned a bit of respect with me.... the only other albums i have are the pete rock and the kev brown remixes of the black album... i haven't heard the original... but those are 2 of my fav. producers... so i d/led em...
there are some other mainstream cats out there who i wouldn't listen to forever simply b/c they were mainstream, when in actuality, some of their older albums are classics... i still haven't peeped much of thier new shit, but the older ones get rotations in my headphones... the only ones i can think of right now are mobb deep, nas, and fat joe...

when i actually first heard about jay z, it was to the point where he had already racked up a little popularity, and the majority of the stuff i heard wasn't too appealing to me... so i assumed that all of his shit MUST be wack, and never thought to actually find out for myself through listening... so i just hated on the dude without really knowing all that much of his music... so i downloaded some stuff, so i could say for sure that the dude was wack... but i found out that some of it ain't all that bad...

Thats funny man. I checked out that Foreign Exchange a while ago but only because someone gave it to me. Otherwise its definitely the type of album I wouldve slept upon.

Hmmm... doesn't sound like Rashaan at all. First of all the whole band is just incredibly nice peeps, and I did a show with em last year where the crowd was kinda wack and they didn't make an issue of it in the slightest.

I was thinkin' the same thing. Everytime i've chilled w/Rashaan that fool has been hella cool. We spent half the night dogging on some kid for calling him "Ahmad Rashaad".. this kid was like "Dude, Ahmad Rashaad i have all the old Mission One stuff!"
