I still say Raiders/Bucs, although I have my fingers crossed for Raiders/Niners.

Shockey deserves the award because a lot of his yards were picked up after first contact was made.

True, Griese didn't get it done this year, but Jake Plummer is not the answer to ANY problem a team might face. Beurline is a decent backup QB, his role should remain just that throughout the remainder of his career.

Shockey's a f*ckin roughneck though. Did you see that TD he scored yesterday? Good lord, he straight ran a niner over. He's definitley deserving of the award, but so is Portis. Broke M.Anderson's team rookie rushing record, as well as the rookie TD record... no sweat..... i think had we made it to the post-season, Portis ould have collected.
