Why is Rashaan solo on the new one? is that why they changed their name? i forget the other guys name right now but he ripped it on one. thanks in advance

Mission was taken by a rock band in England, so they switched it up to avoid copyright infringement.

Moe moved back to beantown to be with his seedlings.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but this comes from the mouth of the band.

Is Moe in Lunar Heights though?

I gotta hit up one of those shows comin up, I felt crappy and missed em at The Independent last weekend...

I just got this Crown City album after a loong wait.. it's definitely good. i'm a firm (no homo) believer in the difference of people liking soulful, jazzy type hip hop (ie - crown city) or the opposite spectrum of people feeling the more crazy, tweeked sounding stuff(ie- def jux)... and I happen to like the latter of the two... but this shit is definitely nice, mellow. i didn't know these cats were Bay Area local, for some reason I thought they were from L.A., until dude i know who works at Amoeba said they were local... and in the liner notes they gave a shot out to the bar I work at (although I've never seen em there); isn't that swell (no homo)?

Crown City was plan A, then when I started feeling shitty I kinda considered going to Blake's as plan B but I had a gig Sunday so I figured I should stay home and chill. I talked to Jake the other day and he said they sold the place out which is cool.

Hey skib I gotta go by Riddm Records to grab some needles next week, lemme know when you're workin and I'll pop in for a beer...

after the vegas trip.

We just dumped a bunch of money into getting two dub plates cut for shows, so that set us back a bit. Probably wasn't the smartest move, but i'm tired of Hip Hop acts that don't showcase the DJ mayne!
