Lifesavas - Spirit In Stone

GOD DAMN this is the first listen I've given to this album, though I've had it for about four weeks now, and... shit!

I'm on track eight of 16 so far, and I would definately strongly recommend this album based just on the tracks I've heard. I may be trippin, but Lifesavas have always kind of reminded me of Cannibal Ox, but left coast style. If that makes sense to anyone.

Plus, they're from Portland, Oregon so there is at least one dope hip hop act us Oregon heads can reffer others to. :cool: Don't be like me and sleep on this music, get it quick.

Damn you been sleepin for a while, but yeah Spirit in Stone is a very solid album. Lifesavas are on point!! I can't wait to hear thier next full length. Cats put on a really dope live show too.

They are fresh as fuck live, that's how I first heard of them, when they came out during Abstract Rude's set at last year's CaliComm in Portland. Speaking of shows, I just found out that KRS-One is going to be in Eugene next month... damn!
