Emanon is one of my favorite groups. I enjoyed the Anon & On EP even though it's not their best work. I'm eager to hear this new Aloe though...

Have you heard 'Dawn's Second Coming'? That's my favorite Emanon release.

Elusive was trying to get some of those bonus CDs for us, but I guess it didn't work out.

Aesop tells us the repressed (corrected) version of Black Libra will be here soon. It's the whole album, made from the real master, not made from the faulty copy of the master. The CD-R with bonus tracks isn't happening.

After Aesop gets us the replacement CDs, everyone who bought a faulty copy of Black Libra from us can get the corrected CD from us. We have the name and whatever contact info they gave us at the time, for everyone who bought Black Libra from us.

In the mean time, anyone who bought Black Libra from us can get a free copy of As Good As It Gets now, if they'd rather do that INSTEAD OF WAITING to get the corrected copy of Black Libra later. If you get As Good As It Gets now, you don't get the free Black Libra later.

Guaranteed to be one of the dopest emcees you’ve never heard, Aloe Blacc of Emanon. Blacc and his DJ/producer Exile released the incredible “Anon and On” EP on Ill Boogie’s Ear Plug Series in 2002. They also have several other albums to their credit that are very hard to find.

Before Aloe Blacc’s solo debut comes later this year, he has just dropped an 8 song EP to tide his fans over. He wrote and produced each song on “The Aloe Blacc EP” himself.

In March, Blacc will go between Los Angeles and New York to record for his “The Get Blacc LP.” In LA he will work with producer Thayod Auser (Xzibit, Tha Liks, Plant Asia, Tony Tha Skitzo, The Firm, King Tee, Phil Tha Agony, Ras Kass & Saafir). I could be wrong, but I think he was just mentioning those names to describe the producers he would be working with.. as in he'll be working with these producers from LA and NY who also produced for... dadadadada ... ya know, so you can get an idea of what type of sounds to expect beatwise.
