Both songs were pretty wack but I have to say that Dumb-C's was a little less shitty.

Now I like both guys, so no bias here. Dumb-C got him. If Madseen's rap were as witty and hilarious as the intro he would've straight burned Dumb. He didn't stay focused; Dumb-C had the better disses, as well as flow (even though the Eligh influence is a little too obvious). But BIG PROPS to both guys. You two really put yourselves out there. Actually putting your rap where you're trap is for all to hear is quite commendable. Even if I had some talent I still couldn't get myself to do what you guys did, especially without knowing what's waiting for me on the other end.

Wow, this was highly entertaining! Fools really put in a little time to make these tracks. With that comes my thoughts.....

Mad$een's track was funny! I dug the intro, clownin' shit! I like the use of Stan in the background...the track itself was decent. The beat was cool as well. Flow wise, you did what you had to do. Good shit....


Dumb C's track was cool. I thought your track would have a harder, more battle type beat to it. The beat was cool, just not battle material. Flow wise, it was decent. I think sometimes rapping fast isn't for everyone. It's cool when done right, but it seemed like a struggle at times. Punchlines were on point, although I didn't like the use of nigga by you. Also that made Mad$een's ending sample more relevant. Don't listen to Lynwood though, their was a big thread on his use of the word last year if I'm correct. If y'all really wanna scrap, ain't Lynwood gonna be in your area? In the great words of Mills Lane, "Let's get it on and get it decieded!!"

madseens was hella funny for the first 2 minutes, but the 'skit' could have been shortened. good voice and delivery, decent lyrics.

dumbc like lefty said, should have picked a better battle beat. it seems like you are having trouble keeping up with yourself on your flow. and dropping the n-bomb didnt help. good, funny lyrics and punchlines though.

also, i think madseens much better sound quality might subconciously make it easier for people to like his better.

but anywho... it was close for me and could have gone either way, but i had to vote for madseen

Damn. Both ya'll fools are pretty good. The stan stuff was the best part of $eens shit. Dumb-C had a better flow though. Maybe Madseen dissed a little harder (no homo) and was a litte funnier, but I think Dumb C had better Cadence and an easier flow.

I walked through POURING rain for this... and I'm glad I did. Much props to everybody involved. Madseen and Hack-C, yall are both stand-up, class individuals in my book. Madseen very creative with all aspects of his track, disses were dope. but raps could have been a little longer but still dope.

Dumb-C's verse was much more solid in flow, cadence, presence. Of course, some of the lines were just a bit unoriginal.

Mad$een's intro was pretty good, and he really could've gone off with that Stan parody, acting like Dumb-C in a letter to Eligh (saying stuff like "Eligh, I wanna' have your baby"). If only for the fluidity of thought in such a concept, he would've easily gotten my vote. $een's outro was also very appropriate, but just wasnt' enough to carry it.

Overall though, I would say that Dumb-C seemed to come out of nowhere with this stuff and did it pretty well, and Mad$een had some quality stuff, but the intro and verse didn't connect too well. Mad$een could've also easily taken it if he had ripped Dumb-C over one of his own beats to rub it in.

mad$een wins. Shit was hilarious, seemed like hacksaw was trying too hard, rapping too fast for his own good, although $een's shoulda been longer. Came through with better punchlines. hacksaw should have used a better beat and tried to not sound too much like eligh. Both were pretty dope though, just mad$een's was funnier.

Despite the fact I voted for him... I would say yes.

As far as who served who, and who showed the most creativity and cleverness, madseen took it hands down. The intro had me rollin HARD. You're officially a funny motherfucker in my book. Good choice of beat, good flow... but the actual rhyme was so much shorter than Dumb-C's that it ended up costing him big on my scorecard. Better disses too, but not enough of them.

The first 8 bars of Dumb-C's joint, I was just shaking my head, ready to send in my vote for madseen. Dumb-C sounded shook... but he most definitely caught back up to the beat and rode that motherfucker quite nice for a good while. The "oops pow surprise" spoke to me, I love that shit. But the "nigga please"? Very bad move Dumb-C... next time set yourself up for success, not failure like that my man! You just straight up walked head-first into a madseen upper-cut, made you look real bad. I really dug the choice of beat btw.

So I voted for Dumb-C because he showed more raw MC skills, and I decided ahead of time that's what my criteria was. Despite the very shaky start, he didn't do a bad job of rockin a much more complex flow than madseen's. Essentially, I went with substance over style- if madseen had dropped more actual lyrics and less skit, he would've gotten my vote. But seriously, the only reason I didn't call it a draw was because I woulda felt like I let everybody down as a judge. I was honored to be selected, so I owed to yall to make the tough call.

no, not really.. at least not for me.. i thought he displayed great writing skills... i don't think he SOUNDS like Eligh, but E's flow definitely seemed to be the blueprint for C.. at least to my ears..but then again, THAT really wasn't what made me vote the way I did.. Madseen's flow wasn't like super original either (no offense) but it didn't remind me of any one artist in particular either.
