I never saw 8 Mile, but I think that was enough hype for a while. I mean Em's a much more solid rapper, and it was a little more original. 50 Cent's story is pretty common for rappers. Em's, well, isn't.

Still, I might see one of these movies eventually.

I dunno'. I don't think any REAL hip hop heads'll watch this garbage, but that still leaves a lot of mainstreamers.

Fifty's no more of a gangsta than the lead singer of Metallica who sings, "Shoot me again. I ain't dead yet."

Unless you go by Snoop Dogg's definition of a gangsta, which includes anyone from George W to himself to Bill Clinton to 50... Then they're all gangstas. Some of em' "finesse gangstas."

Unless you pull a Tupac and hit the streets till' you drop while you keep it real on the mic, don't tell me you're a "gangsta" rapper.

I mean, if they're such successful hard gangsters then why do they have to hit the mic? Is it some kind of social commentary?

I was calling 50 fake, and explaining myself. And I said the reason I won't be seein' this is cuz' 50's too fake for me.

It's a pretty logical connection. Word em' up.
