I'm great at this. Send me an email outlining what format you prefer (chronological, accomplishment-based, etc.), bullet points of your job duties in MS Word (past and present), education, civic duties, etc. I'd be happy to hook it up for you ... for a price. (You had to know that was coming). Don't forget ... your resume is often a first and lasting impression of you and your abilities, and can make or break your chances of being hired.
Seriously though, send me your ideas and whatever info you have and I'll lend a hand.

I recommend learning how to make a resume on your own. It's a valuable skill to have. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with asking for help on this type of thing (I have before). Resumes are usually the first impression an employer has of you - so take part in it! If you do it yourself I guarantee you'll feel proud and respect yourself more. If you feel you can handle the job, you can handle the resume! It's true.
Use resumes as a way to show off what you're made of, and prove that you're worth being hired. They aren't complicated. They usually have an outline like this (doesn't have to be in this order):
- Cover Letter (brief intro, who you are, why you want the job etc)
- Objective (what you want to do)
- Education
- Skills
- Work Experience
I didn't get detailed but hopefully you get the idea.
If you need someone to edit/review it, email me at tgone@accesshiphop.com
Peace!
got like 1 or 2 resume handbooks and found one i liked that could fit all of the main points i was looking for and hooked it up by basically biting straight outta the book's sample resume. i've been using the same one ever since.. except with every new job, i've been adding experiences and moving shit around to make the important stuff fit..so now, it looks like a totally original resume. also, if i'm applying for a variety of different jobs, i'll add or subtract certain past jobs.. like if it's for some type of dressy, jobby-job job, i'll emphasize college stuff and most of my office-based experience.. if it's for more of a blue-collar type gig, i'll emphasize my manual-labor experiences. the main thing you need is your last 3 or best 3 jobs (the same maybe?) and the primary functions you performed at them. hope this helps.
