Anyone else check them out. I just got "Good News For People Who Love Bad News" and I'm really diggin' a lot of this. The stand out track has got to to be "The World At Large". To me this is just a really great track. I was sceptic at first to check 'em out but they're definitely talented.

Your thoughts.

Their new album is great! This was a huge surprise for me...I mean I liked all their previous stuff, but wasn't expecting this. It just has a whole new sound/vibe while staying Modest Mouse. I think this is one of the few bands that has gotten better once signing to a major. Usually bands go off the deep end with all the new tools and producing techniques, etc. that it ends up sounding like a bland cacophony. But not MM.

There was one song that was on one of my snowboard videos called "Dramamine" which was really good. I kinda dig their older stuff. I haven't given the new cd a chance yet. A couple of my friends have it, so I'm gonna have to peep it.

I got The Moon And Antartica. It's pretty cool, kinda of folk sounding in a way. Ain't they from Seattle or something?

damn. People must like using thier music for video parts. marc johnson (pro-skater) has used thier songs for a few of his parts. And I have heard songs from them in other skate videos too.
