Ice T No One gives this cat enough credit. He was just as good as the other west coast rap acts during his era and even better than some that are put on a pedistal.
Guru of Gangstarr When people talk about classic East Coast MC's his name rarely gets mentioned and it really should. The only downfall to him was his monotone voice. He always comes with thoughtful lyrics.
I am thinking of others what do yall think?

Thats what makes Guru Guru.
Thats what makes him dope.... "I'm calm but wild. With my monotone style"

True but that is also his downfall because if he had more of a flamboyent voice then he might be recogized more for his lyrics and his vocals rather than gangstarr being recoginzed for Primos Production

Maybe the whole freestyle fellowship in that statement because they have influenced underground and mainstream and still don;t get the credit they deserve.

yea, i watch him on law & order all the time. love that show.
Ice T gets more respect outside the HipHop community than with in it. He's somewhat of a face for HipHop. Speaking at universities and all that, i'd say he gets his.
