i was wondering why private messaging is disabled. no big deal to me either way, i just felt like asking. peace

It just doesn't seem that important. People can email each other or communicate privately in a lot of different ways. Why devote the resources on our server (and possible extra time administering or dealing with problems) for a tangential feature of the forum software?
