Near about every album I own. My rule is if there's 3 or more songs that suck then I'm not gonna buy the album. And for the most part I don't skip the songs I don't like anyway.

Thats not a very good rule.

I'll buy an album for one dope track.
(If its not available as a 12")

THAT'S not a very good rule! You end up with a whole lotta crap and one-hit-wonders that way. Not to mention all the money you spend. The way I see it is if the musician can't make a solid album they're not very good and I don't wanna waste my time or money listening to them.

I don't buy enough HipHop records for it to be a waste.

I usually always play whole cds start to finish when I listen to them. If Im in the car tho I usually skip past interludes, talking, skits, acapellas(I dunno why people but these on there albums?Anything over 30 secs is a waste of space, like short skits are coo, and if its hella funny with music to it like j-zones thats coo, or a scrathcapella by a DJ is tight also). But the tracks on most of my cds that Im not feeling at first, I usually learn to like em, at least a little bit.

They're essential in maintaining the flow of the album. Skits, Interludes, Bonus Beats, Scratch breaks etc.

Better than just going right into the song in most cases.

The thing is I can find at least five good songs with every one hit wonder that comes out... I can always find something I like.... well, depending on the production of course....
