Anacron hosted an "old school" breaking event out here at a spot called the Metro. It was CRAAAAZY packed with white people in their 80's clothes, but the event was dope. The breaking battle was real new-school though, it kinda threw the event off in a way. You know, all this 80's paraphanalia and clothes and music everywhere was like a blast from the past, then Anacron comes out hitting a ll these new school bboy moves... that was a back to the future time machine moment. Anyways, theres pictures at this address if anyone wants to see.
Oh anyone that follows or knows anything about bboying - the winner of the event was CJ (Black Attack) of the Brickheadz(Chicago) and 2Broes(CJ, Omega TBA, Romeo Brickheadz, and Anacron L.A. Breakers). The battle was REAL ill, with entries from Brickheadz, Ground Syndrome, Chapped Lips Crew, TBA, Chicago Tribe, TNA and other midwest area crews. The final battle was Waka (Brickheadz) vs CJ (Brickheadz) and CJ took it. It was a real positive, high energy event except when Anacron pushed some dude off the stage for saying "Fuck California" when he was talking on the mic about Freestyle Session. That was more hilarious than anything though.
