It's pretty fresh. I'm glad it was put out by Def Jux - they seriously know how to make albums (well, except Lif...). I've never been a huge Murs fan, but cos this was on Def Jux I had to buy it. It still has the LL sound, but with more variation - you can hear the Def-J influence. That shit produced by El-P is hot - especialy The Dance! Jizzm and Ant both did some good tracks too. The only thing I'm not feeling is Sun Spot's production - but I never have. The skater song is kinda corny too. All in all a good album that'll probably be quite goof for LL as a whole and definately for Murs.

Naw, I was just making sure you were poking fun...I don't read hhi.
Wasn't really reviewing the album since I've only listened to it once. Was hoping other people had it and could talk about it, but it appears not. Oh well, give it a couple more weeks I guess...

Will.I.Am and Snoop are on the new Murs album? What the fuck? Where did that come from? I'm hoping it's gonna be dope but I don't have high expectations. Glad that Dreadlocks song didn't make the cut because that track was fucking garbage. Sweet Lord was dope as fuck though.

yea i see what your saying with his guest on this album. but on the other hand almost everyone can say they listened to snoop back in the day. i dont dig snoop at all, but i remember in H.S. bumping snoop's gin& juice at party's.... in otherwords who wouldnt turn down the oppurtunity to have him as a guest... that is now something murs can say he has done. snoop is a legend in the mainstream scene of the 90's. who has not heard of snoop?

btw.... i BY CHANE have seen snoop now atleast 3 times since around 2003 all by chance... as well in 1997 with tool at lalaplooza. what i recall from his sets is that he is stilling playing the majority of songs off his first album which i guess you can say is a mainstream classic.... but everything he has put out since cant compare, hence why he is still touring his first album.

and for william.... that dude has been around the scene for a long time... like i heard someone say before... atleast is just him... and not the whole crew. hearing fergie and murs would ruin it for me.

i believe while making this album he got guest who want to work with him, not the otherway around. and being on a mainsteam label i can see him going with more-known artist on this one. he will have better chances tapping into the mainstream moneymarket with guest like snoop over what we would prefer like guest such as slug.

and yeah i am too glad dreadlocks didnt make it. the other tracks i have heard off this album leads me to believe this will be a good murs release. lets hope so.

with that all said and done.... i still feel you on the guestlist, it would be cool to have less-known, better talented guest.... but murs got his thing going on i guess so let's just wish him the best and hope the album is still heat. if not, then i complain about it later on.

That track with snoop is fire. There is a clip of it floating around on youtube and it sounds heatish. I love snoop. Tha Doggfather lol. I dont really bump his new shit but Doggystyle is classic i love that album.

The track with Will should be dope too. Im def glad there is no fergie but i dont hate BEP like a lot of people do. I give them there props, id rather see some real og hip hoppers graduate to making paper than fucking yung berg or fucking yung whoever the one hit wonder of the minute is.

I was amped when BEP came out at rock the bells. I love that first album and as far as special guests, Dj Quik and The original BEP, ridiculous.

I am looking forward to this album Murs has always been my fave of the legends. Wheres the 40 water track on the album tho? thas all i have to say.

Word, guys. I was more commenting on how surprising it is that those two are on Murs tracks now. No disrespect to either of them. I love me some old Snoop and some old BEP. I guess this is just what you expect when Murs drops an album on Warner Brothers. Pretty excited to hear what he's gonna bring though.

I'm not gonna lie I was kind of stoke when I saw that Kid Rock was gonna be on the album, this was on the early description of the album that access had.... but it's not there anymore, anybody know anything about this? I guess he is not on the album
