battle mc discussion

me and this guy i know was having a discussion on who is a better battle mc. Sage Francis or Thirstin Howl III. He says its Thristin Howl III and I say Sage. I was just curious as to what other people thought of this.

I think they're bothe mediocre at best. But i guess if i had to pick out of those two, i'd say Sage.

ive heard sage more and he probably is a little over-hyped, but ive really havnt heard toomuch TH comes off on.

I said they're BOTH mediocre at best... Sage' albums are weak to me, but he can battle for sure. So.......... what? I said Sage is better. Did you not read it right?

S,this whole thread entittled "BATTLE MC DISCUSSION",had nothing to do with either of the two rappers albums,...the guy was asking about the battle aspect,..and you said he was medicore,leading me and anyone else who reads your post to believe that you are saying his battling efforts are medicore,..which would just be flat out false

Well than let me clarify. If i had to chose a favorite between the Polorican and Sage as far as the battling aspect/skill of each MC in question, i would choose Sage. However, i think as far as albums go, they are both mediocre at best.

Aight, I'm glad other people see things the same way I do. Honestly Sage's albums always have live stuff on them which are all good but nothing great. He is at best when he lays down a track in the studio which is why Personal Journals is such a great album to me. I've seen sage live twice and he is one of the better performers I've seen live. I havent really seen him live in a battle so I'm just going from things such as Scribble Jam and other tings I have heard. What battles thIII has been in I could nottell you. Its not that I am an idiot and know nothing about hip hop music. I try to stay informed of whats going on everywhere. So I posted this here because it is like a neutral forum. Aight peace!.

Sage........ never really seen Thirsten in a battle just heard him battle imginary mcs on songs and stuff...............he sounds too much like Bushwic Bill from Geto Boys
