who saw this? i kept switching over to bet from next action star/last comic standing just for the performances.. they had some pretty cool performances... hella reunions... iseley brothers... rick james (bitch!) and teena marie... sugarhill gang.. melle mell.. the get fresh crew (the highlight)... mc lyte.. public enemy.. a bunch of newer acts, but i missed most of them. janet was pretty weak.. lip synching and doing junior high dance routines..

i liked the old skool part and the rick james speech at the end of his performance. the beginning of the usher performance was cool too.

i'll catch it sometime this weekend... the local radio station was talking about how great it was..i need to see for myself. i love watching award shows just for performances, but i'm not down with lip syncing!
