Access Hip Hop is an online store and a physical storefront in San Diego, California.
We stock vinyl, CDs and DVDs (mostly hip hop) by independent and underground artists,
plus classics and current favorites. We also have t-shirts, hoodies and posters, a few books and
magazines, and we still have some audio cassette tapes. Access has built a reputation for a thorough and
up-to-date selection plus friendly, knowledgeable and reliable customer service.

The Access Hip Hop web site has been serving the worldwide hip hop community since summer 2002.
Customers count on Access to fulfill their orders quickly and completely. With online
forums and listings of local events,

Access Music is located at 1537 Garnet Avenue in the heart of the Pacific Beach area of San Diego.

Holidays: On most holidays Access Music is open, same hours as listed above. However, we are closed on
New Year's Day, Easter Sunday, the Fourth of July, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. We usually close
a couple hours early on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. And we are closed for inventory one full day in the
last week of December each year.
Access Music has been a haven for hip hop listeners since 2001.

We cultivate a relaxed yet stimulating atmosphere, with music playing, a couch by the front window,
posters and original art on the walls. We host live in-store
shows usually a few times a month (see our events page).

RECORD LABEL
Access Hip Hop released several CDs and 12"s on our own label in 2002-2004. The record label
side of our business is currently on hold, with no releases
scheduled for 2008. Stores can still obtain our past releases at wholesale prices directly
